Panel discussions, roundtables, and real estate networking โ zero sales pitches, guaranteed.
FIBI South Bay is a real estate and business networking group without the sales pitch. This chapter was originally started to create a venue where investors and business owners could go to learn from other investors, help each other, and not get pitched books, tapes, or the program of the month.
Typically at one of our events there is a ton of networking along with panel and roundtable discussions on real estate, investment strategies, business development, economics in the current investing climate, and all things real estate related โ in order to educate our members and help them invest correctly with the proper knowledge base.
People use FIBI to expand their resources, and everyone is ready to help each other come together as a group to increase each other's net worth. FIBI is a nonprofit organization and does not make money off of events it hosts.
Each month we feature a topic critical to successful real estate investing and invite panelists who specialize on the subject. Besides moderating the discussion to surface the most relevant information, we also encourage audience participation so you can get your specific questions answered.
Mathew graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in economics and earned his CPA license in 2000, passing all four parts in one sitting โ a feat accomplished by only 10% of candidates. He specializes in real estate investments, syndications, corporate and individual taxation, and business consulting. He founded OCG Properties, which helps clients achieve financial freedom through positive cash flow investments.
David is a real estate investor and advisor based in El Segundo specializing in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. He represents both homeowners and investors, actively invests himself, co-develops small lot subdivisions, and runs a fund buying non-performing real estate notes. Dave founded the South Bay chapter of FIBI because he believes in the power of helping others invest without expecting something in return.
